Maui first responders have continued to work tirelessly during this disaster, but they were not immune to tragedy themselves. Rahul is a member of the Maui Police Department who lost everything, including his home, to the fires.

Rahul’s family is completely displaced, but he will continue to support the community as a first responder. His wife, Meagin, will be out of work indefinitely due to the fires, and their children’s preschool and daycare completely burned down.
