No matter how many stories we write to share on MauiLove, videos show the pain residents truly felt going back to their homes after the fire. Here is Barrett “Bear” Procell arriving at his home on Front Street the day after the fires destroyed everything in Lahaina:

Barrett, a fitness coach and real estate agent local to the Lahaina community, has lost everything. Luckily he has found temporary housing in Kihei thanks to the generosity of some friends, but like so many others he will have to rebuild his home and his life.
